I live in England and its common to hear them curse/swear all the time. Its part of the vocab sorta ..

Every sentence has either "fucking" or "cunt" in 'em

Mostly used amongst the middle-class. The upper/posh class swear in private. LOL

Now, me being Nigerian, using those kind of words is limited amongst my folk/peeps for reasons I don't wanna go into

But I've read about the physical relief of using swear words occasionally ..

When one culture wishes to take over another the first thing they do is immediately get rid of the language. If a language dies a culture dies with it. It is the number one more important facet of a culture.

On an aside, English is one of the few languages that will still be spoken in 200 years.

There is a man in the eastern united states somewhere who wakes up every day and goes to the community center to teach a class of kids an old native tongue that only he knows. He is the last person that can speak it and if he dies the language dies with it. That is completely irrelevant but i thought it interesting enough to mention.

The point is not irrelevant its actually quite on target. The elimination of a language and cultural is essentially genocide which is why the United Nations declared salvery to be a crime against humanity of which a great portion of europe is guilty of.

The fact that this one old man is the last one to be able to teach this language is directly the effect of

european aggression against native tribes. Its why a population 300 million strong in the 1500s is now down to

I say certain things because there's still ways that those who know how to will integrate certain things from their own languages...look at creole and patois...it's a mix of different african dialects mixed with french, spanish, and english but the african dialects were still maintained in some fashion. Look at certain religions like Santeria or even how Christianity is practiced in certain places. So yeah majority of it will be lost but some can and will always be kept by those who thrive on maintaining that connection through generations.
