strange things happening this year mayne

you cant count htme out yet

the dolphins werent posed to beat a few teams this year and still did.. i aint lost hope...

i jus hate when we end up at the middle of the pack then get a terrible draft spot.

i'd rather jus dog it and get a better position in the draft then be pickin 25 because we made the playoffs and lost in the first round 27-6

Bears barely beat the cowboys, bills, panthers and lions.packers gave the game away ALL(except gb) bad teams

Lost to the giants, redskins and seahawks 3 average teams

They gonna get exposed in the 2nd half watch.Bears are wack and the weakest 1st place team in the nfc

Shame on whoever said they were going to the superbowl lol. A win is a win though. Bears aren't superbowl contenders but they aint weak. Wr's are weak but the team isnt.

5-3 why you mad though?

in this league you are what your record is. Packers didn't give the game away against the Bears that's a bullshit argument, they committed many penalties because they were getting beat on the one-to-one match-ups. Holding calls and False Starts were the Packers O-line being shook up and desperate to stop Julius Peppers, and PI from defensive backs just shows you they were getting beat already. c'mon this line of argument is weak as hell - penalties are a crucial part of this game, cope with it.

your little drummed up perception of Bears fans is bullshit too, most everyone had little to no expectations going into this season. it was already a well known fact the O-line had serious issues before the season even started and any idiot can conclude the Martz system will make it much worse, this was the hot topic everywhere with Bears fans you would know this if you actually followed the team. Majority has been calling for Lovie and Jerry to be fired from the get they should have been gone last season, this is the popular consenus easily.

above all the logic in this kind of argument is crap, for every close game Bears could have lost like against the Lions and Bills last night you could just as well say Bears coulda/shoulda won the close games against the Redskins and Seahawks (Bears hurt themselves with a lot of penalties too, remember this argument?) - so it all evens out. and Bills and Lions are playing as decent teams right now, if you actually watched the game Bills gave an excellent performance and the game was only close due to false start penalties from the Bears O-line (yea there's that argument again), but why you act like this isn't the same Bills that took Baltimore and KC into OT the last two games, just like it's the same Lions that took the Jets into OT yesterday, you see where this argument can go? only game Bears got blew out is against the Giants who are quite easily the best team in the NFC right now - the fact that you call them 'average' in order to bash the Bears speaks volumes on your lack of real knowledge on the subject or you just don't mind to make yourself look stupid ignoring the facts just to hate. i'll hold you to this:

2nd half @Vikings,Lions,packers,dolphins all L's

Home vs patriots,jets,eagles,vikings all L's

yea we'll see how it goes but considering the Bears offense is showing improvements even in the last few losses, and the defense is ranked 7th out of 32 in the league and 3rd in Rushing D overall - your prediction isn't exactly logical. Bears already beat the Lions and that was in the first week when they were their weakest still adjusting to an entirely new offensive scheme, they beat the Packers - Vikings, Jets, and Eagles were beat by the Packers who the Bears defeated - and so Dolphins and Patriots are unwinnable games really? Patriots lost to the Browns yesterday and you act like Bears don't have a chance. get real and start looking at the NFL for what it is, there is no seriously dominate team right now and contrary to all expectations the Bears are in it - time for you to deal with this fact, my guy.

edit: btw who is your team then Tommy? do you spend as much energy supporting whatever bandwagon you jumped on as you do hating the Bears?

i been on this board a minute and i don't recall a single Bears fan talking about a SuperBowl trip. not even close, Bears fans aint' like that, typically.. we're used to being mediocre and criticize this team's organization heavily.

SMH at 14 carries for Forte against the worst run defense in the league, Mike Martz is ass.

Chester Taylor also had 10 carries and a TD and Jay Cutler had 39 yards rushing on 5 carries - unintentional of course but displays quick thinking and athleticism. why run when you can flex your passing game though?

lol @ going on the internet and calling a professional who's coached teams in the NFL to regular season records like 12-2 and 14-4 'ass' - Super Bowl trips included. i say you gotta just laugh at these armchair critics, the fuck you know about football really compared to a guy like Mike Martz?

it was a safe assumption because if you hate the Bears so much why you watched the game then? strange way to spend your freetime. you do be making threads about them though so i guess they stay on your mind. you got a complex guy?

Patrick bateman Everybody on tv thinks the bears are a joke analysts like steve young, trent dilfer, mark schereth people who played in the league and won Sb's

When a weak team like the bears struggle vs horrible teams(bills, lions, cowboys and panthers) they will get exposed vs the good ones you will see in due time

I watch cuz I dont have league pass

yea but the premise of this thread is laughable to me.. like you really don't know? this season is about as win-win as it gets for Bears fans. a lot of fans hope they don't win another game, but hey they're sitting in the top tier of the NFC right now so that's cool it's fun we'll ride it out - all this mess you're talking though, what like it's supposed to get a reaction and irritate some fans or something? nobody cares like that it ain't that serious, yea they a joke to most analyst - especially in Chicago.

point being, if the Bears lose every game for the rest of the season then great maybe our wishes will finally come true and this organization can get cleaned out starting with Ted Phillips, Jerry Angelo, and Lovie Smith. they can all get fired, bring in Brian McCaskey to replace Ted and start over - Merry fuckin Christmas Bears fans. actually the worst thing that can happen is for them to go 9-7, get our hopes up making the playoffs and lose in the first round - then Lovie and Jerry are around for another 3 years.

so i really hope you're right if i'm not. true fans always want to see them win first of course, i actually really like this squad, some great personality and talent on this team it's a shame you're unable to enjoy it for what it is.

You dont care yet you're typin epic paragraphs explaining a bunch of bullshit

lol @ top tier in the nfc

Espn/nfl network analysts who actually played the game>>>>>>>>>Local sports radio wit cynical armchair coaches and qb's

The thread premise is this team barely beat the bottom nfl teams and now the tough part of the schedule starts the bears will flop

yea i care a lot, i'm a fan that much is obvious. if they win i'm happy, if they lose every game of the season i don't care i have other motives i'll care a lot more when Lovie Smith Jerry Angelo is fired - such is the definition of win-win as i explained. being able to type really fast and articulate my thoughts has nothing to do with how much i care though.

your thread title is 'time to talk' so that's what you wanted right? thank me for the effort i could have just not bumped your flopped thread. i'm actually interested though in 1) why you think the Bears will lose all these games to average teams that are no better than the Bears and 2) why you think Bears fans act like it's that serious fact is most everyone wants Lovie and Jerry gone by now. you haven't really articulated your reasons for thinking either one, just baseless opinion stated as fact. if you want to talk about it we can talk about it but put some effort in it b it's your thread.

I hope they do surprise me and make it to the playoffs but i know they have the hardest remaining schedule in the league.

I hope the Bears make the playoffs this year, so Lovie Smith can get another contract extension.

There will be mass suicides in Chicago. More air for me to breathe, lol.

And fuck half of these experts talking shit about Lovie Smith, like Bill Cowher ever won with a subpar roster.

And for Troy Aikman always bashing the play calling and the recievers, when did Smith or Martz give him a copy of the playbook? His bitch ass should stick to giving Joe Buck back rubs during commercial breaks.
