Blame for acts of violence from blacks = must be that "gangsta rap from that R. Kelly and that Chris Brown and NAZZ they listen to"

Blame for acts of violence whites commit = we need more mental health care facilities in this country. We cant blame others for what one nut does.

Conclusion:

Surely whites are loving caring, benevolent beings. For one to do such a thing they must be INSANE. Not like niggers who are naturally violent.

So for those of you who swear to God that whites aren't racist in general and blacks aren't treated differently in white media...this is the most recent example.

i'm pretty sure i remember the DC snipers as being portrayed by the media as being crazy. The kid was initially reported as being psychologically abused because he was a victim of mind control from a dominant male father type figure. And the man was seen as a crazy ex military dude who lost his mind. both were labeled as serial killers. thats not a label that is too often attatched to some black dude in the hood who gets arrested for a series of murders that could deem him to be a serial killer. its usually resigned to psychopaths with some sort of disorder towards killing and murder

So he couldn't really be shown as "doesn't know what he's doing" crazy, since he was simply a man who's plans failed. At times, the younger Lee Boyd Malvo was shown as a Muhammad's pawn, but mainly as a complicit accomplice.

One of the most tired complaints by talk radio is how liberals are forever trying to find excuses for why blacks can't do this or why blacks do that, so I'm going to have to disagree with the OPs premise. It really depends on where you look and listen.

The trend I've seen with most famous black killers is some way to externalize the problem, same as they do for many famous white criminals. Blaming rap music is externalizing, same as blaming 'right wing talk radio' is externalizing.

I think the problem is some might feel more personally invested in the 'black causes' more than the others. We listen to rap music, so we take offense at blaming rap.

i think if you looked at it more deeply, you could get a better picture of why the attacks were carried out. and thats just like with any story. but from what i remember, there was plenty of coverage given to him being just a crazy military dude. the public wasn't even really aware of the motives and plans until well after the arrests and trials.
