Just say no.

Nope. Its a cold cold world. Sink or swim. If he wants it that bad, he'll figure out a way to get it done. Welcome to real life.

Man..just because you share a daddy that you don't even like doesn't make you financially responsible for that dude. Why does he need a co -signerfor a student loan anyway? I never needed a co-signer.

i mean, i've heard of people "only calling when they need something" but this is rediculous.

i've never seen it occur so literally. like, when he called i thought someone had died

as soon as he said "..i know i don't call you but .."

i was like, well here we go.

Giving/lending someone cash is one thing. My pockets are always open for family member/friends and even strangers. Its not attached to me, so it won't follow me around forever. My name/SS# will. I can't risk it.

I'm just saying..Loo has no real connection or relationship with this guy so I can easily see him putting the loans on the back burner should it come down to it. What's he got to lose? A relationship with his brother?

That's the point.

I don't think he truly consider me a brother.

But now that he needs something, I'm a brother.

That's not blood, that's not loyalty, thats a means to an end.

i got two younger brothers on my dad side. One i'm pretty cool with, the other one, we dont really talk that much.

Actually, the only time we really talk is when i tell him whats up or shoot him a text. He almost never reaches out to me.

Anyway, the one who i never talk to called me like "yo, i know i never really reach out to you, but can you co-sign on my student loans?"

mind you, this is the first time he's physically called me since...sh** i cant remember. Its his first semester of college and he's trying to make something of himself.

Thoughts??

i literally lol @ this.. Come on lu!

I woulda cussed dude out!
