Here's how I look at it. Rick Ross does have good music, point blank otherwise he wouldn't be selling units like he does. But the fact remains that his whole rap, his whole come up was built off lies. He promotes slanging to the youth and living a drug dealer life he never lived. This nigga out there rapping to our society and our kids about how slanging cocaine is so cool when he ain't never fucked with it. That's like a female MC coming about how she sucks the best dick and handle some serious pipe and it turns out the bitch a virgin. I ain't mad at his hustle but that fat nigga fake... as long as he make good music I'll still listen but the credibility he had before the whole CO scandal came up is gone, on top of that he lied about not being one but that's his business, not mine.

what u fail to realize is ... its not the lie he was hiding ... it was the fact that he was lieing ... he could of been rapping about working @ mcdz but was really a drug dealer ... we wouldnt fuck wit him ..... once your asked something keep it 100 or prepared to be burned for it later ..... it is what it is .......

actually this is why ross cant get over that gold hump .... hes gonna have to release 100 albums lil weezy route so time can pass by and folks REALLY forget about his lies and maybe then he might actually start to really sell and move platinum albums .....

couldnt have said it any better, his whole image is built off a lie and thats why i dont respect him as a rapper. atleast he makes good music..

he denied being a co while glorifying negative stereotypes. that's the problem not to mention he's a wack ass rapper that relies on beats as a crutch

If he was doing dirt at the time (which is possible) then why didn't he just say it when the news first surfaced. He wouldn't recieve hate if he just said he was a dirty C.O., he fabricates everything else, what was stopping him from fabricating what he did as a C.O. It made it worse when he denied over and over, so it comes off as him having something hide. Tupac told the world in 2 different interviews that he studied ballet and he never recieved hate for it while he was alive, he never seemed ashamed of his past or acted like he had something to hide, so I'm sure Rick would've been okay if he said he was a dirty C.O. Basically Tupac was an open book, but Rick got exposed and lied until the very end. So that's why certain people hate on him.

Ask a Street dude or an industry dude you get one answer

ask a E-poster or a suburbanite dude you get one answer

....I tend to respect the opinions of credible people from the streets, and the majority of them support Rick Ross while the majority of anonymous avatars on the Internet don't.

Who's opinion holds more weight: Project Pat or the Internet Mod Jamacia??

An unknown alias or Gillie??

An invisible-Avatar or Bleu Davinchi??

I have respect for Beanie Sigel, Reakwon, and E-40 so when they co-signed Ross I saw that their co-signs were more valuable and meaningful than the unknown-identities on the Internet who have Zero credibility and don't know anything abou the streets.
