Ross is a good rapper sometimes, like on his MBDTF verses or Teflon Don. but he has too much of the same verses, you could do a "write a rick ross verse" thread and people could get pretty close. and then the most recent time he's switched up it's been wack (fuckwithmeyouknowigotit)

he's fallen back a bit in recent months, but he definitely has classic lyrical material, ion know why people stay bringing up that c.o. shit, majority of these rappers out here lyin bout something, tip one of my favs but i think of family hustle everytime he mention guns and hoes now a days..

and its funny how people on the ic were waitin on ross to fall off every year since i joined in 08, yet he just kept gettin better

I don't think Ross is a great MC or anything but I respect his pen more now than I did in times past.

I have the same criticisms I had before about his limited content but I give him credit for his lyrical consistency and his flows but his creativity are sorely lacking. He hasn't become cliche yet which is positive but hes damn close.

He's a B level MC at BEST which would put him on the same status a Cam'ron (who is far more creative), Styles P, and 50 (who's skills are comparable to Ross').
