I've said this before - If you aren't going to vote you better be so economically well-endowed that politics don't affect you or you can support a candidate to shift the needle in your way in your community. Black Americans sit out elections on a local and national level but want to be taken care of. A lot of people dont vote "blindly" though. People realistically and for various reasons and issues thought Hillary was the better option going forward for instance. Politics and life are very rarely that absolute. There are effects and implications to consider. It only makes sense to look out for your potential best interest. Not let potential worst interest be decided for you.
