i disagree i think his style is slow, predictable, unimaginative and the same thug stuff. but everyone got there opinion. That ni99a definitely aint getting a dime from me. I expect more! i think any full time slanger part time rapper in any city USA can do what he do, i dont see the talent there! Rick Ross YES Plies Not for me

Good question...

tough choice..

i do enjoy tight lyrics but i really enjoy good music as well

final choice: hot beat weak lyrics

Its a combo of both...The Music has to move you...I don't care what anybody says..if you got soul then that beat has to move you in some fashion before you pay attention to the lyrics...Certain instrumentals by themselves can bring the emotions out of you..Music is powerful..The vocals are nothing but musical notes rapped to the harmony of the beat..

A wack rapper can make a good beat sound wack...And a Great rapper can make a so so beat sound incredible

I like it all...808s southern beats to boom bap rock type beats...to reggae..i love african music...spanish music..all that music with heavy drums in it

you need good production..beats are the backbone/foundation of a track..good beats make you visualize the content and gives the track personality....raps are interchangeable..it's the beat that makes it a hit and a good one will make it classic...there's nothing worse than hearing a rapper rhyming over a wack or barely decent beat..it's like a sports player who has the good stats but his team sucks

If I want instrumentation I def aint checking for it in rap. Therefore Imma go with superb lyrics and average production or basically Nas.

Last Poets>>>>>>Dipset & Talib>>>>Jeezy. Gimme a Dope emcee on average or wack beat. I write poetry sometimes. And the spoken word is more powerful than Beats.
