It's always about where the sound is, not where it started. I couldn't tell you where rock & roll, country or pop music started in. But you can see the cities where those genres are made today and Atlanta is one of those places for hip hop. I always thought Mecca was the starting point so naming anything outside of NYC the "Mecca of hip hop" is wrong. Mecca doesn't mean most popping city.

People definitely feel some type of way about the A. People out here dont give a fck just keep going foward. Its a very unique mentality. Somehow people just go around obstacles if they come up and dont spend too much time worryin about or hatin on NY or LA or wherever...That said like I said I saw that K camp thing coming on when I tried to watch certain things and skipped it immediately.
