At what point do you start dropping your Fav rappers down the list?

Hov verse wasn't bad. it was good on there like I stated in the thread. and I guess Hov was spitting on WTT. Imo WTT made up for Bp3 and some of the features he been on since bp3 released been heat.

My list really doesn't change besides 1 & 2. Hov is 1 and Nas is 2. If that changes, it's because I've been listening to their old shit. None of their new shit makes me change anything. To me, it would be like saying Mike isn't the GOAT because he played for the Wizards. You can't overlook what the dude did no matter how much you thought he should have stayed retired.

my list doesnt change unless someone completely falls off or someone is making such great music that i realize im finding reasons to leave them off

The most that happens is i switch certain spots

BIG

Rakim

Jay

that's pretty much always gonna be my top 3. Jay & Rakim switch sometimes and Nas slips in there at others

I look at a artist overall body of work. Its impossible for a artist to spit immaculate rhymes on every single track. There is going to be some wack shit every once in awhile, so i expect that and as a objective fan admit to it.

Problem with a artist like HOV and Nas is that they set the bar so high when they came out, fans keep expecting something to be better than the last. Now if Jay drops two more BP3 albums then i'm going to rethink my position. For now he's still in my top 5
