My brother only wants what's best for you despite how he may word his feelings towards you. It's from a place of love and not contempt, sometimes some restraint is needed and sometimes it isn't, my brother obviously feels that the two of you have shared so much with one another that you should be able to be completely unrestrained with each other. Don't be so harsh with him, take his words as acts of kindness from a place of love, and don't think of them from a negative context and the two of you would be much better with one another.
