Well, Grouchy is still very much in charge. As I said before I am just a technical administrator. I run the software and the hardware but I don't make the rules.

Why'd you bring back Ill Pix?

Our mandate was to convert the forum from its original software (vBulletin) to Vanilla Forums, in its entirety. We've done the best job possible, considering that Ducky deleted Ill Pix before we could do the move. We're actively working on a backup recovery but that may not be possible.

Again, the actual content of the forum and the rules that govern it are not my domain.

Everyone always thinks their software is secure, and I'm no exception. But objectively, we've done quite a few security audits and make it a priority to stay on top of developing exploits.

vBulletin forums often find themselves out of date and unpatched. Same goes for the OS and intermediate services that host the site. We've not made that mistake.
