Our mandate was to convert the forum from its original software (vBulletin) to Vanilla Forums, in its entirety. We've done the best job possible, considering that Ducky deleted Ill Pix before we could do the move. We're actively working on a backup recovery but that may not be possible.
Again, the actual content of the forum and the rules that govern it are not my domain.

This is a bug, we'll fix it. You're definitely supposed to be able to delete conversations.

The way they work has already been changed. Initially we had designed something completely different to what you see now, but opted for a more traditional forum layout for the launch. I believe there are plans in the works to slowly update and modernize the look and feel, and to add new features.
