Still Think Jay Z, Kanye West because those guys don't do songs with everybody they are very selective with who they work with.

In order

1. Dr Dre

2. Jay-z

3. Kanye

4. Andre

I think because those guys are so exclusive about who they work with, when they do people pay attention.

It's still Jay. Regardless if you think he's getting weaker on mic or not, if there's a Jay feature then you're going to check for it.

This isn't 2005.

The answer is Drake.

Yeah, it's Drake...Right now...Could be Kendrick too soon...Future on a hook at the moment is takin you places as well...A Tity Boi verse can also push things...

I'm going by quality, not popularity. I'm sure dark skinned Drake aka Ja Rule popularity meant something at one time too, but we saw how that turned out.

You know back in the early 2000's, if Jay-Z cosigned you or got on a track with you, you were destined to blow and the folks would flock to your music...

So what MC holds that power today?

Only person that I would think of feature wise would be Andre 3000.. Him being on ANY body's song makes that masses atleast listen to whatever artist that is.

Andre 3000 barely even raps anymore. Rappers might be happy to get a verse from him, and people might be checking the verse, but a co-sign from Andre 3000 really doesn't mean much.

He couldn't even get a solo deal without being banned from rapping with Big Boi. That's not much power.

well usually you blow up when you get a co-sign from a popular artist, even if they don't have the highest quality content.

If I get cosigned by Scarface (a quality rapper) I probably won't blow up, and will only get exposure to his core fanbase. where as someone like Drake would get you out to a wider audience.

You have to remember, the 4 rappers you dropped are both popular and high quality, which is why their cosigns mean something, along with the fact that like you said, they don't work with just anyone.

I agree with Drake, future not really, and 2 Chainz has worked with everyone in the game except JayZ and J Cole so idk how much a 2 chainz verse is worth

It's worth enough for "RIP" to be on the radio ery 20 minutes...And a Future hook got "Bugatti", "Another One", and that damn song wit Rihanna all over the radio as well...

are people checking for Young JEezy because of 2 Chainz? or Rihanna because of Future? naw

Would most people check for those songs without them?..Naw...Plus, the "All Gold Everything" remix...On real life experience, nobody I've met where I'm from really care bout the other two verses...But niggas sing that 2 Chainz verse word for word...I was at the gym last night, some white boys was in there talmbout "I'm on lean, I'm on loud, and I got my own lane!"....
