Yes, but it depends who you have an opinion on and what kind of white you are.

Suburb white can have an opinion and it'll be accountable on artist such as Atmosphere, Eyedea, Can-I-Bus, Aesop, RA Ruggedman, etc...

Wiggerino's can have an opinion and be accountable on artist such as Gucci, Waka, Rick Ross, etc...

Those half white/half black can stick to Kendrick Lamara, Jayrock, J.Cole, and the likes

White/Mix with any other race can just stick to R&B

Thank you

Most times Whites respect and honor black music more than blacks do . Sad but true

the reality is the UK, Africa and Japan/East Asia are reppin hip hop harder than the blacks now a days. they still do the 5 elements religiously. they know and honor the real history. they respect the real artists we sleep on. they film the documentaries. its still a culture to them. all us black hip hoppers do is praise Jay Z money and garbage ass albums.

Thats true. I have a few cousins in Europe. I was surprised at how much they knew about the mixtape/underground market.

Nosign. So black AMERICAN hiphoppers are the ones supporting Euro Jay??? Trust and believe WTT WAS NOT made with African American hip-hop listeners in mind. You know why whites seem to know more about old school hip-hop today? Its because they WERE NOT THERE WHEN THE MUSIC ORIGINALLY SURFACED. Just because I was actually a hip-hop fan when IT WAS WRITTEN dropped and I've discussed that album for years before these white folks even knew about, doesn't mean I don't appreciate it today just because I don't mention it every 5 mins.

White ppl CANNOT move this culture or its sound forward......that's what black ppl do. I respect white ppl for buying records, but as far as opinions on actual music......not so much. My ear for music And my love for hip-hop didn't come from white ppl, growing up I don't really remember any white ppl who liked hip-hop like that. It sad that a lot of you base the worth of the hip-hop you listen to on how many white ppl like it. White ppl not only support "golden era" hip-hop but they are also alotta the reason why bullshit sells as well.
