I think it might be his style of choice. Because he's not offbeat on aint nothing ta fuck wit or tearz on the first album.
First time I heard the offbeat flow it was on triumph. J dilla made the offbeat beat hot. Maybe rza thought he was going to do the same thing and no one has ever told him in his face that shit is garbage
I always looked at it like, there's 9 MCs. Everybody can't have the same style. So on a posse jam his sped up, offbeat flow works imo.
I'm not saying he's the GOAT or anything but I think his style works on Wu Tang projects and the Gravediggaz albums. In fact I always liked The Night The Earth Cried from The Gravediggaz 2nd LP.
