Eminem and Tupac being compared as "similar" is a joke.

Eminem is the better "lyricist" than Tupac. But in terms of concepts and subject matter they are as different as peanut butter and margarine. PS based on your logic every rapper can be compared to each other since most rappers do show "passion".
