Sam Presti is one of the best GM he came from San Antonio but he fucked up signing Perkins to that contract.

Danny Ainge was smart he knew Perkins wouldn't be the same player after that injury, OKC was desperate took a gamble now they suffering and have limited cap space to sign a decent PG who can play when Westbrook gets out of control.

If OKC doesn't make it to the WCF then this Westbrook/Durant will be gassed up into larger proportions by the media some team will go after Westbrook and that will be a closed a chapter.
one of the best GM's? ROFL how? First he traded Ray Allen for Jeff Green. Then he traded Jeff Green for Kendrick Perkins. Basically he traded ray allen for Kendrick Perkins.

Getting lucky in the lottery =/= Great GM

He traded Jeff Green for Ray Allen because Jeff Green coming out of Georgetown was one of the best versatile players coming out of the draft. It was either draft a young player and keep rebuilding or have Ray Allen on a team full of young players who were still learning the ropes.

The Thunder had no decent center they had Ibaka playing out of position and knew that in order to contend they needed a physical front court so they acquired Perkins (dumb trade which will haunt them). Also Cole Aldrich is a bust he is pathetic and ain't build for the NBA so he stays out in D-league.

HOF player >>>> Jeff Green

You cant call any player a bust when you dont even give him playing time in his rookie year. Thats retarded. And you traded for him on draft day so you need to give him time to develop. Perkins averages 5 ppg and rpg. Cole Aldrich can do that if he was given Perkins minutes.

On top of that Ray was a max player. They wouldnt be able to have the team they have now without trading ray....

But the trade was retarded though.......

I understand why niggas would want to make the comparison, but i don't understand why niggas are making the comparison. Its as if niggas are wishful thinking, hoping that these niggas start acting like bitches over who the #1 option is, when we aint heard nada about them having any kind of issues. The media is a muthafucca, but i see how easy it is for them to get niggas to feed into their bullshit.

Cole Aldrich played minimal minutes in t he beginning of the season and during that time he didn't establish himself. If you can't prove yourself through through limited mins and in practice why should a coach give you playing time? Secondly, other than being a shot blocker in college he wasn't a dominant big man in college that's why a lot of teams passed on him. Ray Allen max deal was too large to rebuild he had to be shipped. This isn't Yahoo Fantasy its real life GM skills and decisions on the line son.

what u mean? the only player wit a max deal on the team is Durant, that doesnt go into effect till next season. They built the team through the draft

LMAO nigga you act like Perkins was dominant. Trading your 3rd option for a center that only grabs 6 rpg and racks up fouls and technicals is retarded.

And the team was built through the draft. They coulda kept ray. They have no big name free agent signings

manner of speaking that'd true...

But at the time of the trade it was almost time for them to resign ray, and they wouldve had to pay him, then KD, so they let him go...they basically looked to the future. And they were moving.....But the trade was still retarded

Meanwhile J. Green is becoming L. James beeotch off the bench

*sigh*

Let me try and explain this. Ray Allen is a max player. Under the current CBA its possible to sign 3 of those players. Durant is still under a rookie contract. Nobody on the Thunder makes 10 million per year. So keeping Ray Allen while continuing to build through the draft would not have been an issue. They didnt need to trade him.

send westbrook to toronto where he can get all the shots he can handle, in return give okc bargnani because he would fill a need at the pf spot.

So a vet player was INTERESTED in rebuilding? No and you can sign anyone you want, you just have to pay luxury tax.....Ray probably didnt know they were gonna good that fast, but he wanted out

iz u stupid? If u wuz a GM ur team wud never make the playoffs. Ibaka can get the jobe done at PF and we got collison for backup. Plus Westbrook aint goin nowhere.

Although Westbrook has been pissing me off lately, I still want him to stay in OKC and if he is smart he will. He's going through growing pains right now. He's making mistakes and he'll eventually learn from them. I'm not sure of Westbrook's family background, but Stephon Marbury came from a certain environment.

fans, the media and the league be salty. They want thz duo to break up cuz if they stay teammates til they retire then its gonna be a problem and its gon be difficult stoppin them.

KD is a great leader and he said a couple of times that they need each other for the team to be a success. He predicted RW would be thz gud before anyone knew bout him.
