No genious because its a mental thing. It much deeper than simply giving blood by Manny. Its cultural/spiritual thing that will effect his mental. And your example actually shows Mayweather is being a bitch.

lmao i dnt kno why i jus saw this but since its addressed to me whatever. u seem to think im biased toward mayweather which more reflects ur own agenda than mine. i blame both sides but no one seems to be hold Pac accountable

the fact that u believe that 'superstious' nonsense proves that ur not worth debating with. ill ask u one question than move on with a more general point. If Pac is so concerned and scared of needles why & how did he get tatoos. No matter HOW far away from any fight they were. Phobias dont disappear with paychecks which Pac jus walked away from

No matter what floyd did it was always going to be his fault in people's minds.....it's a sad fact of reality.....people make business so personal, which is what negotiatons are, it's the business side of boxing....Once again this would have "always been floyd's fault" People on this forum fail to realize the mayweather's & pacquiao's of the world have a legacy to fight for, they have the right to request drug screenings before fights they actually HAVE a career in boxing, and know more about the ins and outs of the fight game than 99.9% of the people on here....put your personal opinions aside for once....

oh wait i forgot..

I forgot manny can do no wrong because he is just the "poor kid from the phillipines", who has the image of the people's champion....so it's naturally floyd's fault....I got it

No clean fighter should care when or where tests are done. Seriously, if mayweather wanted out or to ask something outlandish wouldn't you just think he'd ask for a bigger purse. Think about that

It did lesser, but put things into perspective. He was fighting Marquez. When Pac and Marquez fought both times they didn't even crack 450k buys..

Yes, lets put things into perspective then. That was three years ago and Pacman was a umcoming fighter when he fought Marquez with basically just a filipino following. Pacman I would think is the bigger draw just because his fights are more entertaining. And as I said Pacmans last PPV had more buys and after that performance by Pac I would think that it would continue.

Here ya go

That video is so stupid. Do you really think Pacman's side would really send a e-mail to Floyd's camp asking that? Then ask yourself this afterwards do you think Mayweather would keep quiet about this supposed email? He would have his excuse right there not to fight Pacman. Don't believe it at all.

We can point to the Hatton and DLH fights as well which were there around his 'popularity' which did less than Mayweather vs those same opponents. Cotto is a nice draw, let's be serious.

Yes, but Pacman fought both of those guys after mayweather beat them. Everyone knew Pac was going to knock Hatton out if floyd did and DLH was to old and slow for Pac. Cotto is a nice draw and Marquez is not? I think Marquez is the bigger draw of them two as he probably headlined more PPV fights then Cotto. Marquez vs Pac got fight of the year, then his rematch with Pac... then other big names he fought Barrera, Casamayor, Diaz, & Juarez.

Atlas is going with "He Said" as he did not see the e-mail, but his UNKNOWN source said he seen it lol.

I aint tryin to side with Floyd but a blood test two weeks prior to the fight is not a serious demand imo, cats give more blood than that and goto work the same day, Pacquiao really willing to walk away from 40 mill for that? and if he loses to Clottey then what?

I read about these E-mails on another site they said they were general E-mails like it didnt say if Pacquiao fails a test it was worded 'If either fighter fails a test what would be the penalty' still sent from Pacquiaos side...still not sure how true it is

It wouldn't be the cheapseats if there wasn't foolishness involved in a thread. Firstly, for those of you saying Floyd is demanding a test because he's scared of Paquaio. Why would he agree to certain stipulations such as the diameter of the ring, size of the gloves, time and date of the fight (all of which are in Paquiao's favor), if he didn't really want to fight Paquiao? There's this ridiculous notion in this thread that if the fight doesn't transpire, it's Floyd who is solely to blame, but those who are on Paquiao side have used almost every excuse in the book as to why he doesn't want to take Olympic type testing for this fight.

First, it was "Paquiao will take any test, any time" according to his trainer Freddie Roach. Then when the randomized testing was proposed to Paquiao's camp, then all of a sudden he's superstitious, and feels that having his blood drawn would weaken him for the fight (according to Arum) and they only would do random urine tests, completely forgetting the fact that he had given blood for the fight v.s Hatton days prior. After this was bought to light, then here comes Paquaio's camp again in full damage control saying that they'd do blood tests, as long as it isn't on a random basis (which completely defeats the purpose of blood testing if you are in fact taking something in cycles.) Then lost in translation is the lawsuit against Mayweather and his camp for "defamation of character" for wanting the tests in the first place. Then Paquaio supposedly had a back up plan in Mallinaggi, but he too let it be known that he has his suspicions that Pacquaio may be on something that enhances his performance (BTW he isn't suing Mallinaggi). Well, there goes that fight. Then Paquiao's camp said that they may pursue a trilogy fight with JMM, but then he said that he would want blood testing as well (randomly), so again, that left Paquiao again looking for an opponent that would do it "his" way, and apparently he found that in a fight with Clottey.

For all of you questioning Mayweather throughout this entire situation, ask yourself how would you feel if the roles were reverse and it was Mayweather who contradicted himself multiple times, and didn't want to agree to some of the tests? Yawl (those of you who are questioning Mayweather) would really be calling him scared, and would automatically assume that he's on something because of your dislike for him. Now, the Paquaio's camp supposedly had said that they would agree to a 24 day cut off, but Floyd said 12 so at this point, it's nothing more than grandstanding on both sides, but don't lose site of how Paquiao's role have held up this mega fight.

But why the random drug testing? He agreed to take a drug test directly after the fight so if he was dirty then he forfeits the win. Why all of a sudden is pacman on roids? Because Mayweather Senior said something about his body? That's a stupid reason. Either way the fight is going to happen just boxing politics.

Floyd FanBoys? Why because I like a guy who been in the game of boxing his whole LIFE and never lost? Damn thats deep, if you caint respect that your whole perspective is wack. Plain and simple, he's undefeated, his fights make more money for his opponents than they ever made in a fight every time he fights, when he was fighting a bigger fighter a la oscar de la hoya back in the early 2000's they had rediculous demands as well. The lesser fighter should recognize his position and abide by what the bigger fighter says. Plain and simple. Floyd been holding belts and being undefeated since about 97. Ya boy Pac still an upstart with some questionable bouts with some over the hill cats. Ol bobby, pacs boss is trying to pump pac up like Floyd the damn challenger and that is clearly not the case. All i saying is the fight can go down if pac swallow his pride. he act like floyd aint taking the damn test too talking about he dont want to be weak. Sound like he juicing to me. If not get in the ring. As far as for me being simple I guess you right cause I like an undefeated fighter that uses his brain and manages himself vs one who gets jerked like he back in the don king era. Please, I'm glad Floyd do what he do cuz he the motherfuckin man in boxing, you know that sh*t but caint even feel him cuz you so thirsty to see him lose... SMH

Yeah, fanboy. A fan can like a person but still acknowledge their faults. A fanboy is going to take that person's side no matter what, like some of you are doing. His record doesn't excuse the bitch moves that he makes. In fact, it can be argued that it is a result of the bitch moves that he makes. It's not too hard to have a great record when you continuously duck everyone that poses a threat to you. How much respect is someone supposed to get for that? How does that equate to using his brain? If he's just in it for the money and wants to take guranteed wins just so he can keep his name up, that's all well and good. But he shouldn't get respect as a fighter for that because that's not being a fighter, that's being a business man. He sure as hell shouldn't be walking around calling himself the best, when he's scared to prove it.

simple question for anyone saying floyd is scared

how do u as an athlete, tell the athletic commision what type of tests u are willin to take and when?

when has that ever happened?

thats like tellin ur teacher ur only takin the test if its multiple choice "im not doin the short answer part cuz im superstitious and it makes my brain hurt"

this is the biggest fight since tyson so sure what floyd did was unprecedented but its not as if what hes doin or askin is not fair. yall sayin it like its somethin outrageous to give a blood test. like we havent already SEEN pac give blood tests on TELEVISIONS. ontop of all this hes not askin anyone to do anythin he isnt doin himself. if pacs only excuse is that it makes him weak shouldnt that be floyds as well esp. floyd bein a bigger fighter

I think you're not understanding what's going on. Pac didn't tell the athletic commission anything. They aren't the ones requiring this higher level of testing. Floyd is. Pac was already obliging the drug testing regiment laid out by the commission. For whatever reason, Floyd is insisting that there be a stricter routine, and he basically put the fight on the line fo that. You tell me something. When has a fighter ever done something like that. When has a fighter ever required more stringent testing and then refused to fight if it wasn't in place?

To all the people defending Floyd, please explain what this is about. He's never made these kinds of stipulations before. Him and his camp have put out allegations that Pac is juicing. Those allegations are based on absolutely nothing. Hell, they themselves have said that the only reason they say he is juicing his because he's been knocking people out in all these different weight classes. That's it. So we're going through all these changes because of his accusations that he has no real basis for making. On top of that, Pac's camp agreed to 30 days before the fight and right after the fight. So why is that not sufficient? That's already more stringent than boxing presently does, and Floyd has always been fine with boxing's standard rules before. All of a sudden, it is this big issue that he can't get past. It's BS. Floyd never wanted this fight. He ducked and dodged for as long as he could. Finally, he realized that he'd have to take it to save face. All of this is just his attempt to get out of it. Now I'm not saying Pac doesn't look like a bitch too. I don't see why he can't just agree to the extra testing if he's not juicing. However, I think Floyd is the bigger bitch here because he's always running his mouth about how great he is but he never uses his fists to prove it.

Tyson made Holyfield take a steroid test back when they fought in '96 on their 2nd fight and would not fight him unless the test was taken. And Holyfield had no problem with it because he was clean. See the problem now?

http://books.google.com/books?id=yf...nepage&q=holyfield tyson steroid test&f=false

Marc Ratner, the executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, called to tell me Tyson would not fight unless Evander took a steroid test. This did not bother me at all, because I knew with certainty from my many talk with Evander on this topic that he had never used steroids. Evander told me some people had urged him to use steroids, especially when he was moving up to the heavyweight division. Evander always refused for one reason: If he had used steroids and then became heavyweight champion, he would never had known whether he could have done it without the steroids. I wasn't worried about the test, and I knew that a refusal would be taken as evidence of guilt. On the other hand, Tyson had no probable cause to request such a test and absolutely no right to require one as a condition for the fight going forward. I discussed the situation with Evander, who came up with a brilliant solution. He said he would take the test provided that the results would not be revealed to Tyson until after the fight.

I laughed when I heard Tyson was demanding that I take a steroid test. I saw Tyson's lok when he saw me with my shirt off at the weigh-in for the last fight. He couldn't believe how big and musclar I had become from how hard I had trained. I knew he must have convinced himself that I had won the fight by cheating somehow, because he couldn't face the fact that I was just stronger than him. I was happy to take a steroid teset, because I have never used steroids in my life, but I didn't want Tyson to have the comfort of knowing I was not using steroids. I wanted Tyson to continue to think I had an unfair advantage over him so he would give himself an excuse for losing again

The lesser fighter? I believe Pacmans last PPV buys did more then Floyds by a good margin. So Floyd should recognize his position right?

Mayweather been putting up the most numbers in BOXING since he fought de la Hoya... Pac just got good status and now he the bigger fighter off one fight. Nope try again. I mean seriously, he couldnt even handle Marquez correctly. Pac vs.Cotto, by the way I hoped that fight would put up numbers Cotto had a hell of a following. Mayweather can do numbers with a nobody on the card. Damn, its about the money. No don King sh*t...

Oh yeah, floyd record> Pac record. Greater than Less than values are the best...
