Yea I came in to say the same shit...even I know that all these story lines are stolen from various Batman comics.
Oliver has little to no contact with Ra's in the comics...only when he comes up against the Justice League sooooo....wtf?
Ras wanted Batman to be his heir. Not Oliver. And Nyssa supposed to be Taila right? And Deathstroke, Deadshot and Ra's are iconic Batman villians.
Oliver Queen was a hunter that became obsessed with archery. Only thing he and R'as have in common is the love of ancient Martial Arts.
Still dope as fuck but I know Batman is a lil mad right now.

Man I love how hey mix up all the eras of green arrow and make something kind of fresh and new. But they doing a lil too much stepping on the gawd batman's toes this season. But I can see them going back into the right direction again with the mention of ras potna who got away and started his own shit.
They hinted that he started A.R.G.U.S but they can introduce the secret archer guild through him. They can make oliver get out of the league by joining him. Or like have a flashback after leaving china and running into him and getting trained with the bow.
Nyssa is ra's other lesser known daughter. Plus she aint supposed to be using a bow. I never was all that into green arrow. The reason why I know so much about certain people/situations is because they're mostly tied to other hero's. They have been taking bits and pieces from all eras of green arrow and mixing them up. Just like they doing on flash. But this arc they are basically ripping off the ras/batman arc lol.

They mixed up the league of assassins with the super secret ancient supposedly dead archer clan. The league don't use arrows and oliver really has nothing to do with them.
Yep, they crossing nyssa storyline with talia. lol at the batman talia wedding and nyssa calling sara her "beloved". nyssa + sarah + oliver's relationship = talia & batman.
Malcolm merlyn is supposed to be oliver's teacher and one of the best from the secret archer clan. He was supposed to bring oliver back to the clan.(other story line's differ but are pretty much the same)
amanda waller is also more of a batman series character. She only really interacts with team arrow because of red arrow.
Star city is hood, but they trying to make it gutter like gothem city.
Ras tried to get batman to unleash that virus on the city, that shit was in the 90's cartoon.

This is why I said we need grundy as the big bad guy this season. An actual main bad guy of green arrow. Hopefully he pop back up in the series finale.

And y'all need to give smallvile a break. Stop fronting like that show wasn't a must see from week to week. It only started loosing steam after season 5. What do you expect from a series that was supposed to show the origins of a super hero that lasted over 10 fucking years? lol!!!!!!!

At least we've got one good Batman TV show even if it's called Arrow, not Gotham. I don't mind, they can't use Green Lantern and having him as a corporate Republican dickhead who thinks liberals are dumb dreamers. They've altered his origin significantly by making him younger, giving him a team and ties to ARGUS... I am not opposed them mixing and matching story arcs for characters in mixed media if the product is good in the end. Arrow/Flash for me is miles ahead of Smallville, it doesn't seem ashamed of its roots.

Yeah that shit did piss everybody off but they didn't plan to end it that season. They stretched the series out too much. Oliver was bringing the justice league together but then they started making hella filler episodes. They got too greedy from the shows huge success and went full 90210. They was forcing events that didn't go down in that point of superman's life. Honestly, if it wasn't for that the series would have ended around season 6. It ran waaaay too long.
And that wasn't grundy, that was cyrus gold. He was turning into grundy. There's a reason why he died and the unknown chemical got on his face. He also died on a Saturday. I think the reason why they brought Ras into play is to set up grundy. This show tries to keep the supernatural tame and are easing into it little by little. But I don't think they are just gonna leave grundy like that. He's a well known DC super villein and has a nice storyline with green arrow.
