Malcolm Merlyn will be back for Arrow season two's second-to-last episode, "Streets of Fire." We have some details.
"Streets of Fire" is more than just the title of a Bruce Springsteen song, it's the title of the first part of the Arrow season 2 finale! While that's exciting enough, it's even more exciting when it involves the return of John Barrowman as Malcolm Merlyn. While Barrowman has only appeared in one episode of season two so far, the Merlyn name has loomed large throughout the season...especially given how Thea Queen is handling the news about her true parentage.
There's no word on just how large a role Barrowman will play in "Streets of Fire" just yet, but the official synopsis (which you'll see below) makes it sound like this will be more prominent than his surprise cameo from earlier in the season.
MALCOLM MERLYN RETURNS — Oliver (Stephen Amell) rallies his team as Slade’s (Manu Bennett) soldiers attack the city. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) gets a call from S.T.A.R. Labs with game-changing news and Thea (Willa Holland) comes face-to-face with her father – Malcolm Merlyn (guest star John Barrowman). Nick Copus directed the episode written by Jake Coburn & Ben Sokolowski
