Is Arrow only tied to Batman villains? Don't know much about him, but who are his original villains?

Merlyn is his archenemy. Count Vertigo has shown up during the 2 seasons. Clock King will show up eventually this season.

I forgot about that lol but I actually like Arrow as I do Hawkeye.I always like the archer characters for some reason.

clock king is both a green arrow and a batman villain . I could see any bad guy that isn't too well known or too "superpowered" making an appearance in Arrow. Blockbuster, the toyman, Hugo Strange, Onomatopeoia, dr light, constantine dragon would all work.

I actually prefer it that way.Do you think Arrow could translate well to a video game like Arkham Origins? Thar series proved comic characters can be done right and actually be above par in gaming.As long as its not from Activision.

If it is taken as serious as the arkham series is it could be not to mention it be easier to put batman himself and other villains in a game as opposed to a tv with all the licensing and everything.

I think the season finale will be something along the lines of GA having to team up with Merlyn to take on Ra and the League of Assassins/Shadows. It has the potential to be GOAT, think about it, Thea gets kidnapped by the league so GA her brother, Merlyn her biological father and hell even Roy if he does become Red Arrow/Arsenal by then. Could even have Canary come back as she seems to have unfinished business the the league.

The producers of the television series Arrow originally intended to adapt Onomatopoeia for a 2013 episode. However, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg states his team changed their minds after reading Kevin Smith's statement that the character could not be adapted for screen. Instead, they adapted the character for screen as Mr Blank, a mysterious and highly-effective contract assassin, and cast J. August Richards in the role.[5] He appeared in the episode "Home Invasion" where he played an assassin on the hunt for attorney Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) at a time when vigilante Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) is on the hunt for Deadshot (Michael Rowe). Like Onomatopoeia, Mr. Blank used semi-automatic pistols but not a knife or sniper rifle.

Looks like WB could be looking into incorporating Arrow into the JLU.

Back in November, "Arrow" Executive Producer Greg Berlanti said there had been no discussions regarding connecting the Warner Bros. DC cinematic universe with the DC-based shows being made for The CW, but that may have changed. Speaking with Fandango (via CBM), Oliver Queen himself, Stephen Amell, revealed he has had talks at the studio level about making a big screen appearance as the emerald archer.

"All we have to do for something like that to happen, or even be a possibility, is continue to take care of business with our show and then we put ourselves in a position – but the important thing is our show. I have had discussions, but I think the gestation process for this project is a lot slower than most people think. I mean, they haven't even shot the next one. They haven't even shot a frame of the movie before the movie everyone thinks is the Justice League movie!"

Though having discussions on the matter is no indicator of a sure thing, this is certainly an exciting development. Would you like to see "Arrow" sync up with Man of Steel and the upcoming Batman vs. Superman? Sound off below!

this show had so many of dc's greatest non powered martial art combatant characters besides the above mentioned theres also deadshot, the royal flush gang, black canary ,merlin , bronze tiger and huntress. did I miss anybody. also theres the beautiful female co stars the writing and the action this is the best prime time comic book show ever in an over 30 year history since the incredible hulk no scratch that the best ever period!

they need to have sportsmaster cheshier and artimis in this show in later seasons. I also forgot they had Amanda waller not the fat one(smash on angela bassets gl version) but the sexy one from the new dc reboot this show is goat!
