The cast of The CW's upcoming DC Comics-inspired series "The Flash" is rapidly assembling with the latest addition being John Wesley Shipp, the star of the 1990 live action series of the same name. Shipp's character is being a kept a secret, but he is said to have been cast in a recurring role.

Shipp joins Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, Candice Patton as Iris West, Jesse L. Martin as Iris's father, Detective West, Rick Gosnett as Central City Police Detective Eddie Thawne, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon, Danielle Panabaker as S.T.A.R. Labs bioengineer Caitlin Snow and Tom Cavanagh as S.T.A.R. Labs CEO Harrison Wells.

"The Flash" arrives from co-creators Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg who, along with Geoff Johns, will write the pilot episode with "Arrow" pilot director David Nutter at the helm.

Read an article that said if Gustin Grant does successful as flash, they're gonna put him in batman vs superman. Also Diana and Barry are cameos without costume.

It would make sense that it be there alter egos as a teaser and them in full costume in the jl movie. Now..if they can only let my boy arrow get a cameo spot in the movies like him just getting and bruce in a business meeting or something.

Arrow star Stephen Amill been getting in contact with WB, I think if flash is as successful and popular, they're gonna connect both.
