Reparations is a topic of intellectual masturbation. A waste of time and energy.

On a personal level I'm not trying to cash in on my ancestors pain, the shit is macabre. I can't put a price tag on what they went through. You can't buy humanity and no amount of money changes what happened.

It's not about just you though and why not

They have yet to even acknowledge any wrong doing on top of white washing and rewriting history in the books

It provided them with a 450+ years head start and left us in an impossible position to catch up

Part of helping to close that gap is paying what's owed but who's going to willingly give up power...gotta demand it, if people wanna look at is as profiting off the abuse and inhumane treatment of our ancestors, so be it
