I couldn't agree more w/ you. A couple of years ago I was on my soapbox crusade to rid the IC of ignorance. You see how that turned out..lol. I just said fuck it and put it in the "war on drugs" category. Shit will never stop because people don't want it to stop. This is entertainment for the majority of people so they say and do things to entertain themselves and others. You have to pick your battles. Not everybody who types something crazy is serious. There is a lot of trolling, sarcasm, joking and bullshitting around. It is the nature of the platform. That doesn't make it right, but it is what it is unfortunately.

I feel you, but it all depends on the individual. For example, I can read this shit, watch crazy videos and all that all day and not think twice about it. It does not affect or influence me in the slightest. After I clock out at the end of the day, I won't see this site until the next day. The only internet behavior that truly bothers me is nigguhs posting videos of their stereotypical ignorance for the entire world to see. The only reason that bothers me is because it is a visual representation that "others" can take and run w/ to "justify" other systematic prejudice & all around fuckery. Worldstar is a perfect example. Look at the # of views of some of the videos. The most ignorant shit always has the most views. I treat it like the radio though. Turn the station if you don't like what they are playing.

I agree with you. but it's all connected. they have the views they have is because they watch those videos and it fuels their ignorance. so when they say that all black women are this and that and have these stupid ass videos that support that same fuckery, it annoys me.

people really believe this shit represents african americans because that is what african americans are putting out there and perpetuating in their speech.
