I hate this question.

I can't tell you how worse the economy would have been under McCain, so I can't answer this question. 4 years ago the credit crunch was just reaching it's boiling point. 4 years ago, we were still struggling to get TARP passed. 4 years ago there was no debt crisis in Europe.

So the answer is no, I'm not better off than I was 4 years ago. However, I can't say definitively that I wouldn't have been worse than I am now under McCain and what I'm SURE would have been severe austerity. Ask Germany and the UK how that worked out.

Add a little diddy around the world remix

Yo, you ain't offendin' me

It ain't like you the third son of the Kennedy

Or even in a mob where you can send for me

But all until you talk you don't ever spend a G

I know how it be

or a lil Mos Def.. "Know That"

Yo I'm tryin to make a dollar out of what makes sense

Add it up, told my daddy I'd be a rich man

You never know when your fate gon' switch hand

Get today's solid ground out of yesterday's quicksand

I was a young boy -- who dreamt about being a big man

on small looseleaf sheets I sketched a big plan

Gotta handle business properly, boost up my economy

Store it up and get my mom some waterfront property

Yesterday was not for me but nowaday it's time for me

The streets is watchin me, I watch back, that's the policy

Movin along my oddesey like blood through the artery

Navigate the treacherous and make it seem effortless

Let those who make the exodus seekin the North beacon

from beatin and hog-eatin, from punishment all season

from hands cracked and bleedin..

im jus sayin..

while mos def is good for most occasions

this conversation unfortunately is not worthy of such poetry

you need some ignorant shit

heres dome gucci for ya

Diamonds hello yellow fellow

Mellow yellow diamond bezel

Aqua water, toilet water

Pissin yellow, shit mellow

Club light, club night

Shorty got a hella chain

Hella cake, hella fame

Drop top Corvette yellow thang

Joker was in jail 4 years ago. Joker made some decsions that came back to haunt him. Joker realized aint no amount of paper alive worth not being able to see his daughter whenever he wants. Now Joker is working a legit 9-5 making pretty good pay.

Let's see - I definitely made more money in the last four years, and now I have medical insurance which was a bitch to get before our current president so Yes.

Flag as inappropriateI will tell you this; a family of 3 making $63,000.00 a year has seen an increase of needed items go up to almost 50 percent in the last 3 years. I have seen the figures in my business and working with people and budgeting their finances people making $900 a week have been brought down to people making $300 a week when you factor in inflation. Groceries that used to cost this same family $125, including dog/cat food, health & beauty, and other necessities now costs this same family $250 a week. Insurance that used to cost a family of 3 around $325 a month now costs almost $600 a month. When you factor in all these cost and other essentials such as electricity, house payments, car insurance, and other incidentals, no one has any money left for savings. No wonder people are on food stamps. And this president says we all have to do our part? I think we have given all we can and then some. When is he and his administration going to do their part?

but ceo's and wall street are marking record profits

Absolutely. I managed to transition from a good corporate job with businesses on the side to full-time Entrepreneur with a few ventures that have immediate growth. I have to time to write and publish my own books. Most importantly, I now have the time to actively mentor kids and partner with great organizations that help kids reach their potential despite whatever odds they may face at home.

4 years ago, I was able to envision the life I'm living today but now that I've faced my fears and went for it, the end result in 2012 is feeling fulfilled and locked into my purpose.
