Are the Neptunes really that Good, Or Are They Overrated??

They are THAT GOOD... I remember they said there was a time I believe it was like in 2001 or 2002 that like 70% of the songs being played on urban/pop radio were produced by the neptunes... From Jay-Z to Britney Spears... From ODB to Madonna... that's insane

The Neptunes beats are so inconsistent. I go from "WOW" to "WTF?". Some of them sound like musical masterpieces while other beats sound like their 6yr old nephew jumped on the keyboard. Trash??? NO. Overrated??? I think so.

Its true that less is more. They create masterpieces using the most basic of instruments.

Clipse - Grinding was musical CRACK and it was nothing more tha hard drums, kicks, and claps.

Neptunes are actually underrated IMO. They are one of the few producers that make their own shit and not just cut samples.

IMO, i think they are that good, their beats are usually outside the box and sets them apart from others but at the same time infectious
