Tbh, many, many of "traditionally masculine" characteristics are inadequate, unnecessary, and primitive.

Yes!

There was just a thread on here, where some "men" thought it was cool to give a woman their number and sit around the phone like a bitch, waiting for her to call them.

Classic example of how fuck up shit is, when a "man" doesn't even want to take the lead on shit.

IMO, that type of "behavior" should not get any air play/publicity. I don't want young generations or any generation thinking thats how a man supposed to act/live/etc. Perfect example, a single mother, how she justify this to her son?

No France and European culture is not the same from American period. Outsiders can't talk about what happens in America because you not living here unless you really not from France fraud

I feel like if some how they transplanted some Taliban operative living in the mountains of Afghanistan

to Hood America USA...

He'd be like "... You wear deodorant? You shower more than once a week? Your sleep indoors?? You have How many shoes in your collection? You've never held a rocket launcher?? word??.....You guys are a bunch of feminine bitches!"

Another example is how quick nggas will agree and 'goat' a womans stance on what it is to be man. How odd is that? So thats your voice? Lol

The paralell irl is how it always seems to b nggas in the hood, broke, livin with or livin off their woman.

Coddlin yall nggas to think thats ok. And nggas eat it up.

AMERICAN CULTURE is just an offshoot of western european cultures all things considered america is alot like france.

i think before you have this discussion you have to make the original question more specific: you need to address the context you are asking the question and to whom your audience is (black, white, asian, african, indian, east asian latin american, european, etc)

because every culture has different ideals and meanings for what it is to be a man. then you gotta define what a man is

This thread made me think of that scene in "2 can play that game" where Anthony Anderson was like "pretty soon, we gone be in the kitchen while they sittin on the couch watchin football on Sunday" (not exact quote but something to that effect)
