He has a song called "Times Up" that came out in 1994. That was his first single and probably what he's known for. His first album was called Word Life. it came out in 1994 and honestly I didn't hear it. There was a lot of stuff out at the time but some call it classic.

He has a freestyle on a Doo Wop mixtape from 97/98 thats FIRE. The name of the Doo Wop mixtape is WopDuizm'2. You can find that online. I've been having a hard time finding part one. He also has a song with D.I.T.C. called "Day One" that you should check out. In fact, he's a member of D.I.T.C. (Diggin In The Crates) and he's on most of their songs "Thick" is another song by D.I.T.C. that features O.C.

it's not a stretch at all to say those opening bars to Time's Up are among the best in hip hop. that song had quotables for days.

it's one of the few songs where the artist says in their verse that they're going to rip it and then proceed to do just that.
