My time there was cool, but I was always in major cities. So I could eat at the burger kings and other semi familiar places. A guy that I used to work with just got back from teaching there earlier this year. His stories were just weird, like they didn't run the air conditioning in the schools because they think it causes cancer in preteens. IDK, i'd just be concerned about finding food you can actually stomach. I didn't mess with the kimchi much. Also he says that the korean language itself if fucked. So if you plan on learning that shit, be prepared to study it alot.

Yeah, i was there for 2 weeks. Lots of bootlegged gear on the streets (gucci, chanel,burberry,rocawear,sean jean,etc). As for the people, they were cool, South Korea is pretty Americanize in a lot of ways. I was in Po Hang so Soul might be different because from what i understand the college kids are up there.
