LOL, don't go! The conversation wil lbe forced, you'll have to force a smile. Then it'll be awkward if he tries to kiss you at the end of the night. You'll wish you bought your own Surf N Turf. LOL. Guys usually pursue more than one woman at a time. Someone else will like him and enjoy his company.

you know sometimes you know something without realizing it...been up on this for years but never really voice it or put it to thought...this is real shit...most of us aint as heartbroken as women would like to believe over rejection...to t/s just let him know you aint feeling him like that.

I hope you guys are right cause the way he's been talking has me thinking he would be really devastated if I said no. We had a long conversation about how much he liked me and how I make him want to be a better person etc...

My expression was like 0_o WTh am I supposed to say to that? Lol

Hell yea. If he's treatin, I'm eatin

What kind of gold digger attitude is that....

Why dont you just let dude know instead of leading him on and getting his hopes, maybe he can take his time & money & spend it on a girl who actually cares...

I'll take the chance with the one that appeared to be a snake but wasn't before taking a chance with the one who fronts like a good guy, but got a snake hidden...

...depends on the situation...for example, if it's a movie i really wanted to see then i could care less who goes with me as long as we have that common interest...but an actual date with dinner, flowers, the whole nine??...nah, i couldnt do it...if the initial attraction is not there, why waste my time?...i could be out with this lame and the whole time my "mr. right" could be at the bookstore or coffee house where i'd normally be...

Hmmm... Oh yeah? Even if you spend your money with nothing in return?

please never multi-quote me again; i'm worth of my own specific reply.

also I think there might have been a little confusion with regard to my offer... I said I'd be willing to go on a pity date with you. I know you have a couple of medical conditions while I happen to be the perfect male specimen. I'm willing to look past your shortcomings and go out for some fine dining and maybe a kung fu movie of your choosing as long as you're willing to humble yourself and accept.

:-D

Just tell him the TRUTH.

The world would be so much more a better place if people kept it real with each other.

I mean its common f'n sence that he will be less hurt if you keep it 100 from the get-go. Life is short enough already, stop being a time-waster.

you spend a whole night with someone just for a 10-15$ plate?

maybe we should start a little IC raffle or something like that so you don't have to spend your nights with some dusty niggas at popeye's anymore

I've been out on dates with people I'm not particularly interested in. Quite a few times. It can turn out to be fun, or at worst then a funny story to tell in the future. A few drinks and some food is not a bad way to spend the evening if you've got nowt else to do.

I wouldn't say they were pity dates, I went out with them for something to do not out of pity. I mean, it was nice not spending any time thinking about wich pair of nice shoes to wear. And also I know that it can be fun sometimes so its worth doing.

I tried to tell him. His response was ok we can be friends and then we had another conversation where he basically talked about how much he liked me. I haven't talked to him since but yeah, I'm going to tell him again.

I still talk to him But he's in ATL. I don't particularly care for long-distance relationships.

How is that being a gold digger?? I mean, if a dude wants to take me out, I don't have to necessarily be interested just to go

Sure you do... you have a hole in your heart and there's also the the whole "v" thing. I could cure one of those but in the process the other one might kill you :(

Maybe it's just not meant to be.
