Man fuck y'all I love rap skits. You gotta appreciate at least the production & humor of it, the sound effects and weird skit stories and shit lol. Especially the random or hidden ones that come at the end or middle of the song.

like Ludacris's Greatest Hits Done by Random White People

Lol I quoted this on here a few weeks back. I think in a RZA thread.

Nothing worse when you're bumping 2001 and Pause 4 Porno comes on. Smh

Right, I straight up cringe at that shyt. The album version of Fa Tha Luv of $ too >_>

I was like 11 years old when I copped the album with my pocket money.

Now in 2016 the idea of the skit is so old and played out its inconceivable that people still do them. In fact, they got played out by the early 90s. I remember the skits on The Chronic and Enter The Wu: 36 Chambers were cool but by the mid 90s the whole idea was just lame and played out.

I don't think you could name a skit thats worth listening to after 36 Chambers. Even the skits on Only Built For Cuban Linx don't have any replay value.

In comparison, I'd rather listen to a mid 90s mixtape with a DJ yelling over the tracks rather than a mid 90s studio album by a group/artist that has a skit after every 2 or 3 songs.

As someone already said, good kid mad city wouldn't be the album it is today if it weren't for the skits. To pimp a butterfly either. Both of Kendricks major albums would be just a collection of songs that don't create the story he was trying to tell, without the skits. All skits ain't bad and they definitely ain't played out.

Also, I wanna personally find the niggas (dj's) that be yelling over tracks loud as hell for no reason and shoot them niggas in the face. Real talk. I hate those djs, lol.
