It didn't move the plot very far along, but I fucked with it. Mad Sweeney one of the best parts of the show so it's cool to see the backstory of how he came to America. But they could've put a little more focus into the present.

I knew it, odin set all this shit up from the start. Now I know he's the one that got shadow caught and sent to jail. Mad sweeny probably knows this because he set up lara's car crash on odins orders. That rabbit had something to do with the crash in this episode. That's why he threw that money out when he passed it. Dude saw something in the road and swerved when he was getting topped off. I bet it was a rabbit too. He was trying to get rid of her. This explains why he told him about her cheating in the first place.

I was wondering why mad sweeny felt guilty after he got his coin back. He basically killed her. That's why he been mad at odin ever since she popped back up. That's why he wanted shadow to beat him up in the bar.

From what I've heard the show has been pretty loose in following what's in the books so that continue with the ending.

I'm on episode 5 and so far the tv job is doing a great job in my opinion...I'm not all stuck to them having to really follow the book

All the dreams Shadow has has played out much better on tv. And the backstory shit with his wife plays out a lot better on tv. So far so good on the show
