I finished the book too and I didn't feel fulfilled. Considering its an extremely popular book I expected much more.

They need to get their asses on the road. i feel like they're pulling a Preacher and spending too much time in one place for something that's essentially a road story.

I don't mind letting the story develop but it's already episode 5 so I'm getting the sinking feeling that a lot of stuff is gonna end up getting cut. Hopefully I'm wrong though.
