Am I wrong to think that KRIT will have a better career than Kendrick in the long term?

I think KRIT is as talented but I don't know if KRIT has that it factor to make him anything more than a underground rapper. To me all the great mc's (Pac, Big, Jay, Kanye, etc) knew how to walk the line of commercial music and underground appeal, I think Kendrick has that.

KRIT kind of has the same issue J Cole has, he has no edge to him. J Cole just has a team behind him (Roc Nation) and KRIT doesn't (Def Jam).

Ehh... I think it just falls on what u said the team part

Krit has songs that can do good commercially like good together, new agenda, etc

I see what you saying. KRIT's style is more...I guess "normal" is the appropriate term (?) and the radio factor is huge because I don't think the radio has really found KRIT yet, moreover they probably just ain't checking for him.

You look at all the new rappers who are doing well commercially, they all have a cosign or have a team.

Kendrick - Dr. Dre

Cole - Jay-z

Big Sean - Ye

Drake - Wayne

Nicki - Wayne

BoB - T.I.

Wale - Jay-z and Ross

Meek - Ross

Krit - ????????

Like the IC says, I have only heard of KRIT on the internet

It was the same for KL until he signed with the interscope. Not many people outside the web even knew he existed.

I like KRIT, so no disrespect, but I disagree. Kendrick is only beginning his climb. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see KRIT getting nearly as big mainstream success.

Good point. I don't think he fits anywhere though....maybe MMG...maybe but I think he good enough to stand alone. It may hurt him as far as sales and album releases are concerned though.
