Some folks in here prolly think the universe revolves around them

guess what? There really is people who prefer Pat, but that's not the point

we need to stop comparing artist & jus enjoy their art for what it is... If you like it

Come on now you can't be serious, in this troll ass thread? You saying that as if the OP dissed Project Pat while propping up J Cole.

U might be the only one, and you should be the only one...lol... Project Pat, that moreno is basura

Remember this comment when I start making my threads......

Mista Dont Play, Layin da Smackdown and Ghetty Green was big in VA when I was coming up

That was the shit to this day p-a-tza gets more sound system play than cole. Friday Night Lights is dope and his most recent joint was his best album production wise at least.

Replay at the least separates these guys and project pat has more replay value for me.

Question for both of you deities.

Do you, in fact, believe that Future is a better rapper than Nas, or were you trolling?

Inquiring minds...

There does have to be a line somewhere though, right?

Soulja Boy is not on the same level as Rakim... (Or is he?)

The boundaries for some are more defined and less inclusive than others... That's not necessarily bad thing.

OK- back to the Fuckery

@Cain Yes like anything there is a heathy dose of subjectivity but it lives within a framework of objective guidelines - clearly all rap is not equal in quality. That notion would be offensive to the craft and the true artists who practice it.

Once one progresses through each successive level of objective criteria, however, it is silly to argue over subjective preferences....

But It's also damned funny to witness such arguments

On topic...

Only listened to a few Project Pat songs, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Drop some of these underappreciated or overlooked story telling songs people keep talking about.

And it better not sound like that bullshit that was posted on the first page, because that was some elementary shit.

Look up stabbers on ghetty green, his guest verse on what you lookin for was flames too, also red rum, pat was rapping different on his early work and we can get gangsta was actually a true story
