Am I the Only One who Like Heavy Tags on Mixtapes?

I like them, but sometimes they can be a nuisance, especially if the DJ is just promoting themselves instead of adding something cohesive to the mixtape.

Naw i like the rawness of a dj, rewinding something, yelling something, shoutouts. differentiate it from free albums and retail albums IMO

I like them when they come in at the right time. Trap-A-Holics got the best ones though. And my favorite is Juiceman's drop on Holiday's tapes,

"Holiday seeeeeeeasoonnnnnn....AYE!"

On a side note the broad that does the maybach music tag sounds like she look good

yeah, i just loved hearing sirens and random gunshots and really getting into a verse right before the whole thing is rewinded and played to that exact same point, at which point it rewinds again.

I also loved when Kay Slay would yell "damn" over the best punchlines.

I also loved when Big Mike would spend the first 10-15 seconds dissing another DJ. B/c when i listen to a mixtape, i'm listening for the DJ address his dumbass beef with another DJ.

I loved hearing DJ Envy yell his name at the beginning of every song, along with "people's choice!".

Loved hearing Clue yell his name and have it echo through half a verse.

I guess when i listen to music i'm not trying to induce a seizure by overworking my brain by trying to have it filter all the noise Dj's throw on music so they can remind me a zillion times a song that they're the one that made the mixtape.
