If it took you until college to learn to be punctual and dress appropriately, I'd say something failed along the way.

U think most people in america just out of high school are punctual or at all adult?

I work with young people 18-21 all day every day, mostly ones from middle-class or higher background, and they don't know shit about shit including acting at all like an adult. You can call that a fail but it doesn't matter what u think, only thing that matters is that they learn, and they aren't going to learn to read, write, and whatnot from working a parttime job at foot locker.

Also, I don't know what kinds of fields you guys are in but if you want to get to be successful within the parameters of the fields I'm interested in you're going to need a lot of formal education or no one is going to take you seriously. And that used to annoy me but now it doesn't so much, because for all the faults of higher education system (and there are many), it is the only place where a person can be afforded the resources to really study something in depth for 20 or 30 hours or more a week.
