Anybody else think the story arc from the Avengers Assemble storyline will mirror the movie franchise story arc? Its got everybody already hinted at. Thanos and Guardians of the Universe.

I definitely do. Ive been following that storyline, zodiac arc was kinda cool. Issue 6 i believe introduced the guardians and the next couple issues have been the 2 teams together. And it seems more humorous like the movie was.

I'm not too familiar with the current version of the Guardians of the Galaxy. The group I followed was based in the 31st century and had a totally different cast of characters.

Shit was dope, too. It revealed that the Silver Surfer not only was still alive, but had Quasar's quantum bands that augmented his Power Cosmic skills. That nigga was far more powerful than current day SS.

Cap's shield and Wolverine's skeleton were both still in existence in that version.
