Speaking of suicide, i ve never told you what you should do. You are free to commit suicide yet 9 times out a 10 it has negative sides effect on your familly members like it or not. Suicide stems from an unbarable pressure and depression. Its very often a desparate move, an SOS. Have you ever seen happy people that take off themselves ? Who commits suicide after his BM says yes to a wedding?

In a nutshell do you knows cases of suicide from positive cause? No.

Death is another subject.

War benefits is another subject and cannot be a justification for suicide.

There is nothing positive and glorious in suicide cause its roots are negative and psychotic / pathologic , and so are its outcomes on the famillies.

That is all old testament. The new testament is much better.

I am not saying suicide is the best solution, but it isn't any worse than quitting a job or getting divorced. If you do not like something leaving makes sense. No happy couples get divorced, and funny enough the church has a lot invested in the idea of marriage and has historically been one of the most vocal groups against divorce. Likewise if someone leaving this world hurts the interests of a wealthy monarch or CEO why would they do nothing to make sure it happens less often?

Divorce = end of a marriage that is not a life ending event / state. You can bounce back from divorce, cause you re alive. There is not turning back from death.

Death is permanent. Quiting your job is an event in your life, major or not.

Where did you hear that philosophy is going to be removed from colleges? That sounds absolutely absurd considering the popularity of the discipline.

But David Hume made it clear you should only draw conclusions supported by evidence. Drawing the conclusion first and then finding evidence is basically a texas sharp shooter fallacy.

I kinda feel that they may as well remove philosophy since it is a liberal art and you can't do jack shit with a liberal arts degree.

Getting published is presumably much easier when you have a degree to back up your credibility. Philosophy texts can sell fairly well. The bible is arguably simply a philosophy book and it outdoes Harry Potter, Twilight, The Hunger Games and Shades of Grey out together.

I referred to monarchs to put it into historical context. Consider the prison industrial - modern day slavery in many ways since they've become privatized. Prisoners who have their lives ruined by these institutions are far more valuable to the owners alive than dead.

The very nature of society's social hierarchy is a pyramid. Without the large impoverished bottom there can be no exclusive top.

Free will does exist. Problem is that it is dependable of laws and the environement.

We have the society we deserve : the individualist , all money is good money, survivor of the fittest society.

It sucks cause you are on the poor people side. When you will make it, will you share with the poor?

Thats the western world we want. When elections come what do we ask : more money in order to consume more and more. We eat like pigs cause we dont have the notion of enough. We feel good when we can throw them Ds to in strip clubs.
