Alicia Keys - The Element Of Freedom...thoughts?

Maybe I need to give this one another chance because I was not feeling it. It seemed like the Alicia I knew and loved in 01 and 04 was gone completely. She didn't sound "there" creatively and the production left a little much to be desired. She hasn't been the same since she abandoned her 1st producer. Of course, she's still better than half of the game currently, but for the high standards that Alicia Keys set for herself, this album should IMO stay in the crates. BARELY 3.5/5

Yes it is.....Unthinkable and How strong my love is are my two favs. The whole CD is pretty good.

I HATED love is my disease though!! thats the only one I couldn't stand. The rest are good.

Those are my 2 favourite joints too. I thought that "How Strong My Love is" would've been a perfect tribute song to Haiti.

This album is my favourite album out right now, and I usually only bump hiphop.

I gotta start posting in this forum. Y'all know that good music

I love the album. She just makes beautiful music. Wait Til They See My Smile, Pray For Forgiveness and Love Is My Disease are my favorites. For now anyway. This may be her best album or second best to me.
