Why ya'll niggas think that just because everyone doesn't worship someone the way you do that it's something crazy behind it. You don't hear me calling him a terrorist or racist or crook. That's what white people say about him. I just think he's the civil rights version of an ambulance chaser moreso than an effective civil rights leader. That doesn't mean he doesn't accomplish anything. Sheisty lawyers take on and win just cases too. If that man is your hero, fine. If you think he's some great leader, cool. I don't agree. I hate when people make the dumbass comparison between Sharpton and MLK. MLK didn't just run from photo op to photo op. They basically had a coordinated effort that was in play 24/7. That organization was at the places that would make big news and the places where there was no one. And there was a clear goal and net movement and accomplishment because of those efforts. Anyone that said that about MLK was stupid and ignorant especially given that it was no secret what all they were doing at the time.

Now if I'm wrong about Sharpton, answer my question. How has he progressed the black community? It doesn't have to be some globe shattering movement. But if he has a clear goal and plan that he's executing to accomplish that goal the same way MLK was doing, then we should have seen some movement towards that goal after all this time right? And what is that goal? Shouldn't it be evident by now? And don't give some vague "He wants to make life better for Black people" bullshit either. If he's just a dude that's out their working for the community and picking and choosing his opportunities when they arise, that's cool too. But if that's the case, stop propping him up as some kind of black leader because that's not what he is.
