you guys forget that both make music as ENTERTAINMENT...my preference and your prefrence differ when it comes to these two. But my preference is idiotic because the guy i lsitened to is rapping about something "I can't relate" to or says shit he didn't do. I listen to music to be entertained. You do to and you know it.

yeah and aesop is entertaining i actually find the idea of complex flows and unique lyricism entertaining.

i dont find a fat C.O. pretending to be a Kingpin when its been done A MILLION times before entertaining in the slightest.

if i want to see somebody pretend to be a gangster ill just watch Al pacino (and he does it A LOT better)

Ross chooses good beats, and his fictional life is somewhat amusing.

I hear you. I'm not going to fault people for liking popular music. It's all personal preference and what people value in their artists.

Real music is what you personally feel. My buddy listens to Ross, I'm not going to tell him to start listening to P.O.S. or Atmosphere or something like that, he'd die.
