I got a homie who just got sentenced to 45 years, and we both in our 30s. He said he could either take it to trial, lose, and get life, or plead out to the 45. The only positive thing he could take from it was he could possibly see his grandkids.

45 years of state time is like trying to contemplate the universe.

I got another homie who got 40 years and we the exact same age, he did everything but kill the nigga robbed. 40 joints. They offered him 10 and he boxed it up. No evidence, he's never coming home. The stress will kill him long before he hits 75 and it breaks my heart. I love that nigga, but he not built for prison.

Fucked up, but.........if he's not innocent...........he should take it.

If he is innocent........idk, that's a tough call.

Anything can happen where evidence might come up during the course of his sentence that can exonerate him, but that doesn't happen for everybody.

Other than that, only other thing he can do is try to negotiate a better plea deal.

Try to talk it down to 30yrs or something.
