As a kid, niggaz really fucked with me, cuz I was that kid who would fight whoever whenever... It wasn't a game.... As we got older a lot of the other niggaz gravitated towards the streets and the corners, but I still get a lot of respect cuz of how wild of a kid I was.....
Back in like 90-91 my mom let my step grandmother church talk her into re marrying..... The dude was this East side nigga, straight out of jail and the hood.... Tried to front like he was really getting himself together in church and what not... They hooked him up with my mom on the strength of the whole "your son need a good father" argument....
Whatever... Mom's fed into it and married this nigga Charles....
Right off the back, the nigga Charles go in the projects and decide he wanna take care of his demon seed Emmanuel and be a good father, so this bad ass project nigga moved in wth us too...
He was like a year or two older than me, and angry as fuck at life... Nigga used to try to chump me all the time.... sometimes we faught, sometimes I just let it ride, cuz young nigga had a big brother for real....
Well this nigga fully emerged himself in our neighborhood... he was like 12 and that's the prime age to enter that corner life... as wild as I was, niggaz knew my mom's would never let me hang out there, but Emmanuel was a project kid, and that's all he ever wanted... my neighborhood was ready to accept him....
So yea we go outside one day, I'm off playing with my typical geek nerd ass friends, and one of them run down the street like "D!! Your brother up the street fighting!"
The word "fight" was like a war cry to me, I really enjoyed fights, and everybody knew it.... So I'm running full speed to the playground, and see mad niggaz giving the hands and boots my step brother and another friend of ours..... Bruh I hit the brawl like ultimate warrior sprinting to a royal rumble...
I jumped off the side of the sand pit, punched like 2 niggaz, grabbed a third and fought to slam him... Grabbed another nigga we rolling, fighting... I'm literally fighting my heart out..... And my brother screaming "yo d what the fuck you doing!!?!??!!"
Man this nigga was getting jumped in the neighborhood gang and I ruined it....
Mom's divorced that nigga father a few months later...
He eventually became the thug he always wanted to though..
