Good flick i slept on it.. I could have done withought the punkrock shit.. but i see what they were doing seems like they tried to broaden the appeal.. we always do this...

but the references were cool

I think the Scene in the record store was an Ode to Juice,The kids was like dude from The Wood along with Stacey on his Lou Ferrigno shit as the came security guard, and i think the prom took place at the same place as the dance,The scene towards the end reminded me of FRESH

Boyz n The Hood parallel with Zoe Kravitz character

I didnt realize his mother was Kimberly Elise i thought she was..... whats her name who always plays someones mother
