Obi Wan seems like the exact type of hypocrite that would chastise anakin, inadvertently turning him to the darkside by being an overvearing parent, while doing his own dirt.

She waaaaayyyyy to young to be Ben’s daughter

If they were following the extended novel line, she would have been the twin sister of Kylo Ren, aka Ben Solo, who should have been named Jacen Solo, as Luke named his son Ben, not the Solo’s. They did have a son named Anakin, so maybe he’s a mashup of the two brothers and cousin as Ana nor Ben went to the dark side.

Either way, I see her as a offshoot of the Kenobi line. Disney won’t complete desert the Skywalker bloodline so maybe she’s an offshoot Skywalker? Maybe Luke or Leia genes?

30yrs between the fall of Emperor the beginning of episode VII

The time between episode 4 and episode 6 is like 3-5 yrs, and Rey can’t be more than 20? That’s a good 10-15 yr gap between Obi death and Rey birth.

I figured Disney would throw out all that damn material smh. Some great stories we’re written too. Maybe they’ll pick and take some elements from the novels

Nothing makes sense except Leia being the mom

Could have been born when her and Han were on the outs about Ren.

We know the family splintered when Ren turned cloak and that Han and Leila didn’t see eye to eye after he destroyed the Jedi and Luke went into hiding
