I was born and raised in the West born and lived in London all my life, educated here, my family are here. I think u looking too deep into the Western ideology, brand loyalty, consumerism. I simply like nice things as far as brands and work for my money. As far as western ideology it is all i have experienced as i have never lived or even visited anywhere outside the West but it's a life style i like may sound simple but that's just how it is
