I interviewed LB (separately) at tha AC3 festival in Atlanta back in '10 for this hip-hop website me and my nigga from highschool had...them, Homeboy Sandman, Static Selectah and DJ Evil D...shit was dope

Homeboy sandman's music is very weird to me. I like some songs, but he has very interesting metaphors and just odd music in general lol.

I agree...but tha stuff I do like is really dope. Plus he mad cool and down to earth. He even said he'd wear our shirt from our site with our logo for his XXL spotlight...that whole festival was mad fun

Thats dope as hell. He signed to Stones Throw awhile back. Been a few years now, but he fits right in with their camp. Did an EP and might make a full album with Aesop Rock. I dunno if you know who Aesop Rock is but he is a very odd and abstract rapper. His music is so full of metaphors you cant understand the song lol. He goes into genius.com and annonates (or however you spell it) his own music sometimes because people get it wrong.

I'm not just a street music fan bruh...I love hip-hop...I know who Aesop Rock is lol...but yeah I started following Homeboy Sandman after I caught his performance on a side stage at tha festival and thought tha song was dope...ran into him at another set later on and we started chopping it up...he's mad cool...he was like a lawyer or some shit and quit to do music...Aesop I think is a little more "abstract" but they both can be an aquired taste in style...


This tha song he was performing when I caught him and his showmanship and obvious love of what he was doing made me a fan...
