My supervisor just set me up for the okie doke. He sent me downstairs to escort someone in the secure area. He just gave me the person's last name, so I didn't think much of it. I went down and saw the person. So I started to get the person's attention. At first I thought it was a chick, but when he/she turned around, the face looked just a man's so I was like "Hello Missss...ter???" Had me looking like
I got quiet as hell. It had a manly face with facial hair and everything, but tits, and not manboobs, I mean actual tits. Now it saw me, but I guess didn't hear my greeting, so I had a chance to recover, but I was for real for real unsure of how to proceed. So I just said "Hello" hoping that the voice would give me a clue. Nope. It said Hello with the most androgynous sounding voice ever and said "I'm Alex." Still no help because I know white females and males named Alex. So it started talking and I didn't hear anything said because I was still trying to figure out what it was like
So I took it to the area it was supposed to go and then went back to my supervisor's office. This dude had a funny little smirk on his face and asked me how it went. I was like "He...she..." I couldn't even finish before he busted out laughing like "You couldn't figure it out either huh?" This jackass knew what I was walking into and only sent me because he didn't want to deal with it.
And I ain't even calling the person an it to be disrespectful, I still don't have a clue what gender it was even now. WTF?
